she/her/hers
Where do you work?
I work for myself, primarily in the media space, as a writer, journalist, storyteller, and creative.
How long have you been involved with Women Unite!?
I worked for Women Unite! briefly in 2021 as a grant writer, and have now returned in 2024 to work in comms.
What do you like most about WU!?
I love WU!’s politics, the fact that the non-profit invests back into communities, and how supportive the org is of its employees.
What’s an issue you care deeply about? Why?
True, real, tangible equity—and reproductive rights. It feels like we’re getting farther and farther away from both. Women don’t have a say over their bodies, minorities don’t have a say over their safety. More often than not, it feels like neither has a say in living a safe and just life.
What’s a hobby you have?
Boxing
What gives you hope?
Spending time with loved ones, listening to music, my passion projects
What are 2–3 ways you’ve been getting through the fall of late-stage capitalism?
My monthly book club, my fitness regimen, and catching a really amazing DJ set
What’s a fun or random fact you’d like to share?
I started a St. Louis-based print magazine in 2021 :)
What’s one of your favorite local businesses?
Semicolon Bookstore
