Where do you work?
I’m a Project Manager with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. I make sure teams are aligned and that things get done!

How long have you been involved with Women Unite!?
I joined the board in March 2023.

What do you like most about WU!?
I love that WU! focuses on local organizations with boots on the ground. It’s helping to build stronger communities in a tangible way that affects daily life, and that aspect really drew me in.

What’s an issue that you care deeply about?
I’m a supervoter who’s passionate about fighting voter suppression and intimidation, and creating a more inclusive election process. Access to voting in this country is not equal, and as a result, our government does not represent everyone.

What’s a hobby you have?
My mom taught me how to crochet in high school, and I’ve loved it ever since. I used to have a small side business of hand crocheted house plants, but now I focus on afghan blankets—a true labor of love.

What gives you hope?
Each new morning.

What’s a recent piece of content you’ve enjoyed?
Lindy West became a favorite author of mine after reading Shrill a few months ago. I recently learned of and subscribed to her substack called Butt News, where she recaps (aka roasts) classic blockbuster movies. It makes me laugh out loud.

Fun/random fact you want to share?
I’m in a Women’s Hiking Club and a Karaoke Club!

What’s one of your favorite local Chicago businesses?
I love Humboldt House for home goods, and Peach Fuzz for kids. They’re down the block from each other in Humboldt Park, and my go-to for gifts.
