Where do you work?
I work at Salesforce as a content strategist. I help connect our customers with the resources they need to be successful in their Salesforce implementations. I work with a team of writers, creatives and UX designers who are brilliant at what they do.

How long have you been involved with Women Unite!?
I joined the board in March 2023.

What do you like most about WU!?
So far, the best part has been the human connections I’ve been able to make with a group of like-minded people who want to do good in the world, starting with our own backyards. After the pandemic I lost a sense of community and I’m happy to say I’m starting to gain that back by diving in with WU! Chicago.

What’s an issue that you care deeply about?
Reproductive rights, bodily autonomy, and women’s healthcare are top of mind for me. Seeing the country move backwards in this area has lit a fire under me to do what’s in my power to strengthen these rights on a local level.

What’s a hobby you have?
I joined a choir this year! I sing Alto in the Edgewater Singers, a group that’s been around since the 80s.

What gives you hope?
Gen Z becoming eligible to vote. This generation has seen some sh*t and won’t stand for the inequities and a rigged system we’ve upheld for far too long.

What’s a recent piece of content you’ve enjoyed?
I’m in the middle of viewing the last season of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I love the storytelling, the comedy, the staging, and the whimsical aesthetic!

Fun/random fact you want to share?
I waited until 2017 to read and watch the Harry Potter books and movies, and ended up naming my cat Neville (after Neville Longbottom’s character). So yes, it is fully possible to become a Potterhead as a grown adult.

What’s one of your favorite local Chicago businesses?
This is an impossible question! Milo’s Pita in Edgewater is my favorite place to get Mediterranean food. Lena Rose Beauty in Lincoln Square has some of the best beauty products and services in the city. And I love my trainers at Orange Shoe Fitness in Andersonville!
